On Baucis, an old drunken Crone.
Baucis the Bane of Pots, what time she laySick of a Feaver, thus to Jove did pray;
If I escape this Fit, I vow to take

Wanting her wonted Cups, (now past all doubt
Of Danger) she one day this shift found out,
She takes a Sive, and through the bottome pries;
So she at once a hundred Suns espies.
