IX. ON THE SAME.

With Languages dispers'd, Men were not able
To top the Skies, and build the Tow'r of Babel;
But, if to Britain they shall cross the Main,
And meet by Act of Parliament again,—
Who knows, when all together they repair,
How high a Castle may be built in Air?
