FRIDAY will be the last day of
the book drive for the Upward
Bound program. Books and magazines
above the sixth grade reading
level are needed. Collection boxes
are situated at various points about
the Grounds.

STUDENTS who submitted
poems to the American Academy
Competition may pick them up at
the English Department office, 115
Wilson Hall.

DEAN CAUTHEN has arranged
that starting Friday, May 23, and
running through Tuesday, June 3,
the following classrooms in Cabell
Hall will be open for student study
from 6 p.m. to midnight, Mondays
through Fridays, and from 1 p.m.
to midnight on Saturdays and
Sundays. Cabell Hall 311, 316, 317,
319, 323, 324, 325, 331, 332, 333,
337, 338, 340, 341, 345, 422, 423,
424, 430, 444.

IF YOU ARE returning to the
U. for the fall 1969 session, you are
reminded that you must bring your
ID card when you register for
classes at Memorial Gym on Sept.
10 or 11. Your ID card will be
validated for the 1969-70 school
year as part of the registration
process. This applies to graduate
students and undergraduates.

ALL ENGINEERING students
are reminded that review days will
be held this Thursday and Friday.
Please attend. Monday will be a
reading day.

TUESDAY and Wednesday will
be Course Evaluation in the Engineering
School. If you miss a class,
extra evaluation forms are in front
of Thornton Hall.

ALL graduate A&S and College
candidates: winners and losers in
the May 13-14 elections must file a
statement of expenditures in the
Student Government office by 5
p.m. on Wednesday.

C'VILLE Draft Opposition invites
all interested parties to a
reception for Gen. L. Hershey (of
the Selective Service) Saturday May
24 at 6:30 p.m. at Gayle JHS,
Fredericksburg, Va. A rally will be
held at 4 p.m. at Ball Circle, Mary
Washington College to precede the

its annual spring address Dr. J.
Sprague, Chairman, Dept. Anatomy,
U. Penn. Medical School. He
will speak on "Interaction of
Cortex and Midbrain in Vision" at

MARY ANNE HORTON has
announced her candidacy for the
office of secretary of the graduating
class from the School of Education.
Inasmuch as no other candidates
signed up Thursday, she is the only
candidate, and is running on
write-in campaign.
