Blessed are the pure in heart,
Prepared their God to see!
Jesus, to my soul impart
The spotless purity:
Let Thy grace my soul o'erflow,
And all my sinfulness remove;
Thus the' essential bliss bestow,
The purity of love.

The mystery unknown,
Cleansed from every sinful stain,
To love my God alone:

And turn my faith to sight.
