[Would my Saviour have me do]
Let us go on unto perfection.
—vi. 1.
Would my Saviour have me do
What He commands, in vain,
Eagerly a shade pursue,
Which I can ne'er attain?
Nay, but I believe Thee, Lord,
Trust to prove Thine utmost will;
As I hang upon Thy word,
Thy word in me fulfil.
