[What doth my gracious Saviour say?]
He became the Author of eternal salvation, &c.
—v. 9.
What doth my gracious Saviour say?
“Repent, believe, endure, obey,
Humbly in all My footsteps move;
Be meek, be perfected in love:”
And if I thus fulfil His word,
Caught up to meet my heavenly Lord,
I soon shall see Him as He is,
Author of mine eternal bliss.
