The odious Comparison.

An Epigram.

A whig, a Nettle, and a Toad,
Are much alike, by all that's Good:
The Nettle stings, the Whig he bites,
The swelling Toad his Venom spits:
But crush 'em all, your Strength exert,
And neither then can do you hurt.
