68. Venus.

Love hath his Flux, and Reflux; Venus bred
Was in the soyl where Tethys layes her head.
No credit Venus merits; her descry
You may, 'twixt Sol, and seduc'd Mercury.
The Planets are her Cronists: none so far
Can scout from sense, to call her fixed star.
