Success the First begot Success the Second;
And then, when Queen Majority had reckon'd,

Success the Third was born; when he was dead,
Success the Fourth was crownèd in his stead.
So on, by Arithmetical Progression,
The Numbers christen'd give the true Succession.
Hats, Caps, and Bonnets do but talk at Random;
This is the Fact.—Quod erat demonstrandum.
