And referring to the Covers of a singing Book, Painted with Slips of Flowers, to several statues, which were there view'd; and bitter Cherries, tasted of by the Author. The Lady being absent, &c.

Where ever Sol emits his innate Light,
On purpose to transport the drowzie Night;
The English valour will endure the Test:
Nor do her Lions fear, the Eagles Nest.
Had Britain many Nestors like to you:
She should be as Renown'd, for Wisdom too.
