[The mystery so long unknown]
Christ in you, the hope of glory.
—i. 27.
The mystery so long unknown
Is manifest in Christ alone:
The fulness of the Deity
Resides eternally in Thee:
Jesus, to me the secret tell,
Thyself, the Gift unspeakable,
The hope of heavenly bliss impart,
The glorious earnest in my heart.
