He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

From the eternal Sun.
Shall we of our lustre boast?
Or dazzled by the brighter light,

In our Redeemer's sight?

Will the chief of saints declare
“The chief of saints am I!”
Perfect, his perfection dare
In words to testify?
Suffer worms to count him good?
Or humbled into nothing own,
He who wash'd me in His blood,
My God, is good alone.
