[Can it never be fulfill'd?]
Love is the fulfilling of the law.
—xiii. 10.
Can it never be fulfill'd?
Then we can never love:
But by Thy good Spirit seal'd,
We all the truth shall prove;
Thou our hearts shalt circumcise,
And give us meekly to confess
Perfect love which God supplies
Is perfect holiness.
