[What must I do, shut up alone]
What must I do, shut up alone,And to this wretched self confined;
Nothing but sin I call my own,
Naked, and destitute, and blind:
A gulf of darkness palpable,
A being infinite and void,
My nature's total fall I feel,
And all my painful want of God!
