Unhappy bards! but others may be found,
Whose gentle names in verse melodious sound,
Bacon in easy numbers glides along,
And Trap and Wharton melt upon the tongue,
Egregious wits! and criticks both sublime,
Whose kindred talents so exactly chime,

That hard it is to say, in verse or prose
Which happy genius more divinely flows;
In this alone the former does excel,
That Trap writes most, but Wharton writes as well.
