Folks are grown witty upon one another;
But what's the Meaning of that Latin, Brother,
That stands a-top there of the lowest Wit?
“Why, ‘Indignation makes the Verse.’”—“That's it.
But, pray now, if one turn the Observation,
What's Latin for ‘The Verse makes Indignation?’”
