45. Occidar modo Imperet.

When Nero's Embryo, did his Mother fill;
She search'd the Bowels of Chaldean skill:
Would'st know his Fortune? Thy Issue shall be,
A King; thy Life shall feel his Tyrannie.
Pride swell'd her Joy, that she could not refrain;
Let my Son kill me; so my Son may Reign.
Her wishes took Effect; Nero was kinde;
To observe punctualy, his Mothers minde.
