Jews the prophecy fulfil,
Jews in the appointed hour,
Whom they sought in vain to kill,
Yield him to the Gentiles' power:
Like his patient Master bound
(So the sovereign will ordains)
Paul must spread the gospel sound,
Ransom captives in his chains.
