Ad Catonem.

When thou didst know the merry Feast
Of jocund Flora was at best,
Our solemn sports, how loosely free,
And debonaire the vulgar be,
Strict Cato, why didst thou intrude
Into the seated multitude?
Was it thy frolick here alone
Only to enter and be gone?
