The COURT-CURRIER.

Our Country was of late with blood imbrew'd,
And in this Age as viciously indew'd,
Impoison'd with base Ingratitude,
Where th' Hydra-headed Slavish Multitude
Admires those only who have so much Sence,
As beg a Place with frontlesse impudence:
And by their activ'st Favourite, ready pence,
And without merit seek for recompence.
These be the thriving Boyes, who at this day
Are tane into the Pool while others stay.
