Professor Of French

Mr. Woody, professor of French in the
Department of Romance Languages, came to
the University in 1928. He received his
undergraduate degree from the University in
1923 and later studied at the University of
Paris. Indiana University, and Northwestern
University.

Mr. Woody's major field of interest is in
16th and 17th century French literature.

At this year's baccalaureate exercises in
June, Mr. Elzinga will give the keynote address
to the students who are taking their degrees.

The office of the Dean of the College is
responsible for the academic affairs of students
in the College who have not declared their
majors. Each of the assistant deans is
responsible for one of the six housing
associations at the University.
