Vietnam Policy

Senator McGovern's speech, however, will
center on the Vietnam policy of the Nixon
Administration, and in this capacity it will serve
as the keynote of the Moratorium debate.

Beginning Monday, the schedule of activities
will increase with the addition of debates,
discussions, rallies, speeches, and marches,
focusing not only on the anti-war position, but
also on the discussion of the advantages of the
present Administration policy.

On Monday, there will be two discussions,
one presented by the History Club and the
other sponsored by the Moratorium Committee
and Sociology Department, as part of the Social
Problems Symposium Series.

The first talk will be given by Arthur
Waskow of the Institute of Policy Studies in
Washington, D.C., on the topic of "Radical
Perspectives on American History." This will be
presented at 4:30 p.m. in the South Meeting
Room of Newcomb Hall.

At 8 that night, Mr. Waskow will join
Professor Norman A. Graebner, other faculty
members, and a student, for a panel symposium
entitled "Vietnam and After: The Criteria and
Content of U.S. Foreign Policy" in Cabell Hall
Auditorium. Mr. Graebner is one of America's
foremost students of United States foreign
policy.
