Special Music
Special music will be presented by the University Singers,
Glee Club, Brass Quintet and Baroque Wind Band. Conducted
by Donald Loach, they will perform a double chorus motet for
voices and instruments by Heinrich Schutz.
Recessional music, will be played by the Brass Choir whose
director is James Simmons.
As part of the Founder's Day events, a dinner was held last
night for directors of the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Foundation
at Monticello. Tomorrow, exactly the 225th anniversary
of Mr. Jefferson, there will be a formal wreath-laying ceremony
at Jefferson's grave at Monticello.
