TRANSFER OF STOCK CERTIFICATE OF SEARS, ROEBUCK & CO.
The following resolution was adopted:
RESOLVED, by the Board of Visitors of the Rector and Visitors of the University
of Virginia that certificate of capital stock of SEARS ROEBUCK & CO., No. C-217230
dated July 23, 1942 issued in the name of THE RECTOR AND VISITORS OF THE UNIVERSITY
OF VIRGINIA be re-issued in the name of WABY AND COMPANY, nominee of the Peoples
National Bank of Charlottesville, Va. depository of the University of Virginia
for endowment fund investments, and that J. L. Newcomb, President, be and he is
hereby authorized to sign sail certificate on behalf of this Board.
