[The witness of the Lord is sure]
God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them, &c.

Who only can impart
The faith which makes a sinner pure,
The love which fills his heart:
Proof incontestable He gives,
And all may see and know
That every true believer lives
As Jesus lived below.
