[Who can compass or contain]

The Most High dwelleth not in temples, &c. —vii. 48.

Who can compass or contain
The glorious Infinite?

Worthy of the Sire Divine—
The body of His Son!
One the body mystical
Is with its heavenly Head,
Therefore God vouchsafes to dwell
In all the faithful seed;
In the hearts of men to' abide,
When throughly cleansed by Jesu's blood,
By the Spirit sanctified
And all resign'd to God.
