DUPLICITY;[_]
How unlike the bishops of old are our modern men
of lawn! Formerly they were all pride, hyprocrisy,
insolence, and rapacity; but behold! the present
race are mild, affable, charitable, and generous;
and though so eminently exalted above their
half-starved curates, appear to have been bred
(gentle doves) in the bosom of humility.

‘D'ye think I'll see that vile apostate nation?
