Thalia for thy purple put on sack-cloath,
Sing hoarse Melpomine with Ioues Harpies three,
Terpsichore breake of thy galliard daunces,
Leaue Erato thy daliance, court in black-cloath,
Thy prayses Polymneia she inhaunces,
For heauenly zeale Vrania she outreacheth,
Pleade not Calliope sing not to thy Lute,
Ioue and Mnemosine both be mute
