LEAVES OF ABSENCE

• The following resolution was adopted:
  RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the following faculty members be and they are hereby granted leave of absence:
• Mr. Roy W. Ely, Lecturer, General Faculty, one-third time, for one year, effective July 1, 1977, to pursue doctoral studies at VPI & SU.
• Mrs. Lana W. Low, Assistant Professor of Education, for one academic year, effective September 1, 1977, to pursue doctoral studies at VPI & SU.
• Mr. William F. Maxwell, Assistant Professor of History, one-fourth time, for one academic year, effective September 1, 1977, to complete his doctoral dissertation.
• Mr. Joseph M. Scolnick, Jr., Assistant Professor of Political Science, three-fourths time, for one academic year, effective September 1, 1977, to complete dissertation for the Ph.D. degree.
• Mr. Roy L. Wells, Jr., Associate Professor of Chemistry, one-half time, for one academic year, effective September 1, 1977, to pursue doctoral studies at VPI & SU.
