[With sorrow Lord and fear]
Judas...having received a band of men, &c.
—xviii. 3.
With sorrow Lord and fear

Renounce his sacred character,
And hell prefer to Thee:
For we who fiercely blame
The wretch with Satan fraught,
Left to ourselves should do the same,
Should sell our God for nought.
