A SNAP SHOT

Who is this sprite so dainty,
At odds with grisly Death?
His struggles nought avail him,
The Conqueror conquereth.
“Oh! I am one whose heeding
Was all of delights most high;
Time's treasures fitly feeding
My delicate sense and eye.”
But say, didst thou feed others?
“My lovers, and my friends.”
And never a dusty beggar?
Then here thy banquet ends!
