PROMOTIONS

The following resolution was adopted:

• RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the following promotions be and they are hereby made:
• Miss Neva Y. Gibson, Junior Instructor, to Instructor in Library Science, for one year, effective 1 July 1970, at an annual salary of $[OMITTED].
• Mr. William F. Maxwell, Instructor, to Assistant Professor of History, for three years, effective 1 September 1970, at a session salary of $[OMITTED].
• Mrs. Rosemary P. Mercure, Junior Instructor, to Instructor in Library Science, for one year, effective 1 July 1970, at an annual salary of $[OMITTED].
• Mr. Roy Lee Wells, Jr., Assistant Professor, to Associate Professor of Chemistry, for three years, effective 1 September 1970, at a session salary of $[OMITTED].
