AUTHORIZATION TO ADVANCE ATTORNEYS' FEES AND EXPENSES FOR
REPRESENTATION OF WILLIAM J. MORRIS

The following resolution was adopted:

  • RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the attorneys' fees and expenses incurred by William J. Morris, an employee of the University, in connection with a suit against him in Albemarle County Circuit Court be paid by the University to the extent of the deductible amount under the insurance coverage for the matter, provided that Mr. Morris provides the University with his written undertaking to repay all such amounts unless it shall ultimately be determined that he is authorized to be indemnified by the University as authorized by Section 13.1-205.1 of the Code of Virginia.
