| CHAPTER XII. The poetical works of John and Charles Wesley | ||
2008.
[Ye who curiously desire]
They came not for Jesus' sake only, &c.
—xii. 9.
Ye who curiously desire
The works of Christ to see,
Come; but farther grace require,
And His disciples be:
Him who raised us from the dead,
Expect your sinful souls to raise;
Feel the Spirit of our Head,
And live to Jesu's praise.
