Life to a soul if Jesus give
He will not then neglect and leave
His Lazarus restored,
But visits and confirms the grace,
The tender life of righteousness,
And feeds him with the word.

The sinner saved is Jesu's guest,
(Whose presence makes the' angelic feast,
Whose glory fills the skies,)
He banquets on redeeming love,
Nor envies those he left above,
