Venus oft ask'd the Cause; at last she heard
On th'Adrian Sea a Rival had appear'd:

The Queen of Paphos rag'd, nor wou'd She stay,
But thro' the foaming Billows cut her Way:
Saw Moceniga; and, with Envy fir'd,
Back to her Cyprus sullenly retir'd.
