CHAPTER X. The poetical works of John and Charles Wesley | ||
1963.
[Still in spite of earth and hell]
And many believed on Him there.
—x. 42.
Still in spite of earth and hell,
Sinners their Lord embrace;
In their inmost souls they feel
The miracle of grace;
End of every outward sign,
Jesus, Thou dost the faith impart;
Then I know that Thou art mine,
Jehovah in my heart!
