[Justly doth our humble Lord]

Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man, &c. —viii. 51.

Justly doth our humble Lord
His doctrine magnify:
He that keeps the Saviour's word,
Shall not for ever die:

Life He sets before us here,
The true eternal life above;
Thus through faith we persevere
In pure obedient love.
