Timidos fortuna repellit.
When Miles the Serving-man my Lady kist,She knew him not (though scarcely could resist
So sweet a youth and well apparelled)
Had not the dunce himselfe discovered.
For this, quoth he, my master bad me say—
Which hearing made her frowne and flying away,
Why thus it is, when fooles must make it knowne,
They come on others businesse, not their owne.
