The Muse to the fowre windes.

I had to Poetes an alarum given,
and told a Plowmans tale of twelve monthes longe,
and righted Gwy of Warwicke (now in heavn),
and more Poeticke visions troopd amonge;
but Licence and the Press have twoe condicions,
that hurt more then they heale, yet no Phisiciens.
thus maie this Philomel hush vp her Lay,
sith Printers maie not preach, yet they will pray.
