Mayday Planning
After his trail, Mr. Froines travelled to New
Haven to work on Legal Defense Projects and
help with the trail of Bobby Scale. This past
May, he aided in planning the Mayday
Activities in Washington. On May 4 he was
arrested for conspiracy to violate the civil rights
of government employees with Mr. Davis.
According to a member of the D.C. office of
the People's Coalition, no indictments have
been issued.
Presently, Mr. Froines is promoting
activities scheduled for later this month. The
People's Coalition is a consolidation of
approximately one hundred anti-war
organizations. It is basically an outgrowth of
the New Mobilization Committee, which is
itself a successor to the older Mobilization
Committee.
