Drivers Needed

The organizers of the migrant child care
project hope to have the program underway by
today. They reported that the program
desperately needs one or two vans or
station-wagons and drivers to transport the
children to and from Covesville.

Volunteers are also needed for the day care
center from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday
through Friday. Any one who can give one hour
of time would be of help, particularly those
who can speak Spanish since many of the
Mexican-American migrant children speak
Spanish more readily than English. Help in
preparing lunches and contributions for food
are also needed.

Anyone who wishes to help in any way may
contact Rev. Howard Gordon or Carol Gates.
