PROMOTION

The Board adopted the following resolution:

RESOLVED by the Board of Visitors of The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia
that Mr. John A. Bell be and he is hereby promoted from Acting Assistant Professor of Law to
Assistant Professor of Law as of February 1, 1957, for two and one-half years.
