PROMOTION

The Board adopted the following resolution

RESOLVED by the Board of Visitors of The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia
that Mr. Rexmond Canning Cochrane, Instructor in English, be and he is hereby promoted to
Assistant Professor of English for the session of 1954-55. This is a one-year appointment only
