PROMOTION
The following resolution was adopted by the Board:
RESOLVED by the Board of Visitors of The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia
that Mr. Philip Henry Ryan, Lecturer in Mathematics in the School of Engineering, be and he
is hereby promoted to Acting Assistant Professor of Mathematics in the School of Engineering, for
the session 1952-53.
