This rather inconspicuous vehicle holds doom for any canine running unleashed about the Grounds. The University's Animal Control Officer, patrolling the area since July 1, can be envisioned clapping stray dogs into his wire contraption and wheeling them off to the SPCA. Observers have noted a sharp decrease in the number of pooches running loose on the Grounds, either because of more responsibility on the part of owners or the dogs' realization of impending threats.
