"Maupin Girls Are Better Than Sweet Briar Girls" seems to be the theme of the advertisement that was displayed in front of Cabell Hall yesterday morning. The girls of the 220 suite indicated that they were trying to make fun of similar signs posted by the area's women colleges. However, a male University student who appeared to be familiar with the suite made a fleeting comment about "the wanton women of Maupin."
