MOTIONS FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION

The following motions were adopted unanimously by the vote of all Visitors present:

• (a) That the Audit Committee of the Board of Visitors go into Executive Session for the purpose of discussing and considering reports and recommendations of the Auditor of Public Accounts related to the recently completed fiscal audit and performance evaluations of certain University departments and programs, as provided for in Section 2.1-344 A. (1) of The Code of Virginia.
• (b) That the Board of Visitors go into Executive Session for the purpose of discussing issues related to the evaluation of the Athletics Program; specific student disciplinary matters; real estate transactions involving the University Real Estate Foundation, the Darden School, and the Health Sciences Center; and specific legal matters requiring the legal advice of Counsel, as provided for in Sections 2.1-344 (A) (1), (2), (3), and (7) of The Code of Virginia.

Following Committee meetings and a recess for an Executive Session of the Board of Visitors, the Open Session of the full Board resumed at 2:35 p.m., on Saturday, December 7, 1991.
