319. On Contending for Heaven.
And does there then remain a glorious RestFor Saints? O let us zealously contest
For it against all oppositions,
We must pass thorough Thornes to sit on Thrones,
We er'e we reign, three Regiments must rout,
The flesh, and Devil within, the world without.
By giving battel to them in the way,
Heav'n is for triumph, but it's now a day
Of battail, let's fight the good fight of Faith,
There's no cessation of Arms till death.
