CHAPTER V. The poetical works of John and Charles Wesley | ||
1728.
[Thee, Jesus, God supreme, the Son]
That all men should honour the Son, even as, &c.
—v. 23.
Thee, Jesus, God supreme, the Son,
Even as the Father we adore,
Equal to the Most-High we own
The same in majesty and power;
In Thee His character express,
The brightness of His glory see:
And will no other God confess,
No other God adore, but Thee.
